2026 Events

Reynolda Gardens Tour – May 13, 2026 – Gather at 8:00 at the American Legion, then venture together to the Reynolda Gardens in Winston Salem. This follows up on the wonderful presentation we had in September from John and Adrienne Rothling, Director of Reynolda. Details will be shared at our May 6th club meeting. Sign up

Blake Farms Nursery and County Store – June 10, 2026 – Meet at 8:30 at the American Legion, we will carpool over together, lunch after in North Wilkesboro. Sign up

Blueberry Picking – July 15, 2026 – A great way to enjoy the morning and connect with club members. Details coming soon. Sign up

Springhouse Farm Flower Picking – August 14, 2026 – Pick a bucket of blooms to take home. This was such fun last year, we decided to go again. Details coming soon. Sign up

Wildflower Bingo – September 9, 2026 – Details coming soon.

Dahlia Festival in Sparta – September 12, 2026 – Meet at the American Legion, car pool together, attend the festival, and enjoy lunch on Main Street in Sparta. Sign up

Pumpkin Festival at Harvest Farm Valle Crusis – October 9, 2026 – A mountain must. A great time to bring your grandchildren. Sign up

Past Events – 2026

Private Tour at the Village Thrift Store – April 29, 2026, 10:00am – Meet at the Village Thrift Store (8332 Valley Blvd). After our private tour, we will gather together for lunch at a local restaurant.

2025 Events

FIELD TRIP – Meet Me in the Garden – May 3 – Join the Hibriten Garden Club for a walking tour of six neighborhood gardens in Lenoir, NC.

FIELD TRIP – Good Ashe Lavender Farm – June 18 – An organically grown Lavender farm in Lansing, NC.

FIELD TRIP – Rhododendron Festival – June 21 – Roan Mountain State Park, approximately 40 miles from Blowing Rock.

COMMUNITY EVENT – Mile of Flowers – June 27 – Visit spectacular public and private gardens around Blowing Rock. In addition to the garden tours, there will be an afternoon private tea party for ticket holders at the American Legion building in Blowing Rock.
