Our roots go back to 1948, over the decades the club has taken different forms.

In 2000, a few geraniums ringed the Main Street memorial to the Blowing Rock residents who paid the ultimate price in service to our nation. That year, the Blowing Rock Garden Club began helping the town improve the area by installing trees, shrubs, and perennial flowers. Over time the Club has worked with the town to expand Memorial Garden to over 1,700 square feet.

From May to October, club members gather on Mondays at 5:30-7pm and Thursdays at 8:30-10am to work together on the garden. We plant, fertilize, weed, mulch, and deadhead the flowers. Please consider joining us.
